The East Fjords are some 15 fjords surrounded by towering mountains that don't leave much lowland between them. Many of the fjords have towns as they are good places for harbours but there isn't much farming due to little space. The fjords in the north are long and rather narrow while the south fjords are wider, not as deep with more lowland and even have a number of big valleys each. The fjords are quite different in size, shape and each one has it's unique look and they are all worth a closer look.
