Lake Lögurinn stretches along Fljótsdalur valley some 35 km. This view to the south from a point close to it's north end shows most of the valley all the way to Mt. Snæfell in the distance to the right. The town of Egilsstadir, the service centre for The East Fjords, is by the lake in the middle of the picture but can't be seen clearly. The yellow field by the lake is it's airport.		Close window
