Snæfell is the pride of the east highlands and the third highest mountin in Iceland 1833 m. It has glaciers to the south and hot pools just north of it, a beautiful ice cave in the glacier southeast of the mountain and a good mountain hut that offers accomondation under the west side. Definately a place to visit and the road is good enough for passenger cars in the summer.		Close window
