The town of Seydisfjordur is quite busy during summer when the ferry Norrona stops there every week. Most of the tourists that bring their own cars come this way. A former base for allied forces during WW2 and one of the biggest trading towns in Iceland in the 19th century Seydisfjordur today is a very pleasant town to visit with plenty of attractions for travellers.
