In the middle of Iceland is Hofsjokull glacier the thirth biggest in the country. It has many smaller glaciers flowing in all directions from the main mass. From under the edges of the glaciers the glacier rivers flow in many places to form few big ones further on. The many rivers seen here are the beginning of Thjorsa river, the longest in Iceland, over 200 km long and very powerful.
