With all the snow in the winter and the glaciers there is much water in the earth as well as folwing on the surface. Lakes are ewerywhere in the highlands, most of them small but some big ones as well. Amazingly, trout can be found in the most unbelievable places and many lakes are used for fishing, both sport fishing and commercial fising with nets. The lakes are all very different, from water gathered in old craters to glacier lagoons and everything in between.
