Kerlingarfjoll mountains is a mountain cluster just south of Hofsjokull glacier. There is a skiing resort there that is open during the summer and is very popular both for skiing and also for regular tourists as the mountains are very interesting, small glaciers and snow with very colourful hot areas between the peaks.
