Dalvik is a small town in Eyjafjordur about 40 km. north of Akureyri. It stands under the edge of one of the great mountain clusters of the country, Trollaskagi or The Peninsula of Trolls. It has jagged peaks of up to 1500 m. and covers an area of roughly 25 km by 50 km, a true home for trolls if there are indeed any.		Close window
