The word here is big. Here are the biggest valleys in Iceland divided by some of the biggest mountain ranges. They are both long and wide and most of them are rich farming areas. There are all kinds of farming but horse breeding is widespread in the region and that is evident by the many horses seen grazing in the area. But there are also many smaller valleys in the mountains and those are the home of supernatural creatures like Trolls and Giants. This is an area where everybody can find something of interest in this land of big and beautiful.
