Northeast Iceland like the rest of The North has many huge valleys. It also has narrow, uninhabited valleys, Bleiksmyrardalur 50 km long and extending into the highlands almost to the centre of the country, is one example. Agriculture being the main activity in these parts many of the valleys are used for farming. But there are still uninhabited valleys some of them very interesting with rivers, waterfalls, hot areas and all those different wonders of nature to make a visit to one a pleasant experience.
