Mt. Namafjall is just northeast of Lake Myvatn. It is bursting with geothermal activity and the heat has created astonishing colours in the ground. Boiling mudholes and steam geysers make for amazing scenery east of the mountain and a few kilometres north is the geothermal powerplant Krafla.		Close window
