Mt. Öræfajökull and the mountains north of Skaftafell National Park. The road across Skeidarársandur sand lools good and built to last. No such luck, much of the road was wiped clean off the sand during the flood that followed the eruption under Vatnajökull ice cap in 1996.		Close window
