The south coast of Reykjanes peninsula has many different looks. There are sandy beaches, vertical cliffs, rocky shoreline or even lava that has flown right into the ocean. There are no fjords and few inlets but two towns there have harbours, rare for the south coast. This is very good land for walks with the Atlantic ocean stretching to the south all the way to the south seas and Antarctica. Rich birdlife, clean environment and very little traffic all comfortably close to the capitol.
