Reykjanes peninsula has a mountain ridge along it with a few valleys. They aren't very big but bigger ones can be found around Mt. Esja especially north of the mountain. Another place with rather small but very nice valleys is the area around Mt. Hengill some of them with steam coming from the ground as there is intense thermal activity there. East of Reykjavik there are some small valleys but those have more vegetation and are generally smoother than the valleys in the mountains.
