On the east coast of The West Fjords this beautiful fjord is called Nordurfjordur, which means North Fjord. This area is the northernmost inhabited place on the east coast although in the past all of The West Fjords were populated. The road goes as far as the next fjord but from then on it's walking, but what a walk. There is even a hot swimming pool in one of the deserted fjords.		Close window
