King Eider
King Eider is an arctic spices closely related to The Eider and can be found among them during winter. A few birds stay all year long and most of them in the big Eider colonies in The West Fjords. The drakes are colourful birds that are most recognizable from their head. They dive for their food in shallow waters and keep to the sea like their cousins The Eider. These birds are difficult to find. Those who do love them because of their beauty but they are mostly seen by the Eider farmers and dedicated birdwatchers.
